I was looking at some neat business cards and this one was my favorite. I liked that it made me think about how graphic design doesn't really have to be on paper or on the monitor. It is neat to be reminded all the applications of the field.
This is a Samsung advertisement for their whole "Express yourself" ad campaign. I found it when i was looking at different pieces with a common idea. It was the idea of the using smaller objects to make a larger one. I think that's neat.
This is the same idea for Dettol Instant Hand Sanitizer.
This is the image that got me started looking at the idea.
This is the cover of The Used's cd version of Lies For The Liars. I really love their artwork for this album. I have the special edition cd/dvd, "signed woot for me!" , and the cover of it also serves as a book of all their artwork. I believe this definitly falls under digital art. I enjoy the surreal quality of it.
I have been working with computers since I was a kid. I am always looking to integrate more technology into my life. Every chance I get I add a new gadget to my repertoire of techno junk. I guess that comes from being a complete nerd when I was growing up, watching every episode of every series of Star Trek. My computer knowledge was one of the main reasons I went most of the way through the digital media program at Parkland College. Like everyone else in that program I started out with the whole "I love playing video games so I want to make them now." After a while I realized that it was not as fun making them as it is to play them. After considering my direction I realized that Graphic Design would be a better major for me since thats what I enjoy doing on my free time anyways.
